A long day it was, but this 20 hours was well worth it, even if it meant being unable to sleep long hours (being tired as I am; haven’t slept well for 2 nights before either). Did something meaningful, and found out stuff that srsly took me aback. ThecakeisNOTalie :)

So this was how it started. Woke up at like 7.30, prepared to return to PHSS for senior citizen day cum new year celebration/lunch. Shall skip the details of my journey due to its insignificance. So, arrived in school and Joel and I was promptly briefed by newly elected President of Pei Hwa Alumni Youth Wing (PHAYW), Yiyang. Between that and the arrival of the old folks were mainly the 2 of us strolling around the school reminiscing stuff while president handled his unending tasks.

Arrival of senior citizens, directed them to canteen, chill out session, etc. Finally the VIP and guests were all arrived, and were ushered to the school hall for lunch and performance etc. The VERY MOMENT the song began to play, this uncle started cha-chaing to the music. It was hilarious, but he was admirable and respected (by me at least). So new year performance began, and lunch was served concurrently. The uncle like went up to the stage to dance with the emcees, and what’s best was he DANCED HIS WAY to the stage floor ^^

So for the tl;dr people, highlights were that we had to serve (or aid the elderly with their food), magic, professional hokkien band, spontaneous guests, and the oh-so-epic morning in general. Was pretty successful in my opinion, but still need to critique on several things, so don’t blame me for my straightforwardness. But who reads this blog or post anyway~~

So first, and most apparent hiccup was the lucky draw numbers not tallying with the tables the numbers were assigned to. Communication could obviously be the way to settle this, for I was pretty sure instructions weren’t specifically given, mainly only the broad idea of the event, and the details were left to be inferred by us (accidentally leaving out important ones perhaps?). The message being passed on through so many people was definitely a bad idea to begin with. We all know this for sure; orientation camp games with passing of a message through the line of participants, and the message get twisted until its fubar.

Secondly, and from this point it’ll just be my personal opinion and nothing more than that. Waitering stuff. How I do it is that I’d patrol around the tables for a bit when the 1st dish, maybe 2nd too, is served. This is to allow for the guests to know that I’m actually the one in charge of the table, so they know who to call for should they require attention. So happens that the table arrangements were a little off the plan, but still, after that, it is only right (or professional) that we remain still. What I did was stand at the side, parallel to the table I was in charge of, but still visible to them. Most of us I saw were okay, probably worked as waiters/waitresses before, but I was utterly disgusted when I saw a couple circling, just walking around the table non-stop during the entire lunch period (expect when it was us eating). I mean heck, how could you eat in peace when someone’s all over and around you!

Thirdly, and lastly, giving out prices, no congratulations and no handshakes?!?!? MEH! Courtesy and respect mang~~

So like I said, overall was very successful, just some things I penned down to remind myself in future, should I do it too :V No pun/offense intended (if anyone present reads this).

Ok so after (or nearing the end) of the event, I left to meet Weihong to see a hairdresser which I already made an appointment with. So after doing our stuff, went to orchard to find clare, joel, amanda, and e3 company. Shopped around a little with them, then bought some stuff for teh lulz. Dinnered at botak jones, and you guys should’ve seen what I drew on the plate, was something like that, simply because the foot sucked so much..

Walked around with them and found out lots of lol stuff. It’s been soooo long. Meh, some people just appear so comical to me, not because of what they do, but because of what they perceive. Oh the smart people in this world these days, inorite? After that, went home with Andre and Joel on 161. Alighted in between my house and joel’s to chill, this time for even longer than with the peeps. So we talked for like quite long, and both learnt lots of stuff which were unreal. There’s so many good (and bad) people in this world, totally amazing and horrible.. Some deserve better, some don’t deserve anything. Oh man. Allah save me~~~

Just some photos, wonder where did the TAU POK photo go. Mr Biller, our lecturer was moaning, I swear. I could literally hear (feel maybe) his pain~~

Spent about $100-ish in a day! $70 on clothes, $25+ on food and socks, and like $10+ lost on blackjack. Meh~~

I fell asleep during Ochem today. Ouch! :( I lack sleep men. So I’m going to bed at 10.30 today :)

Photo taking session after ochem, looking to receive the photo soon. We tau poked Mr Biller. MUAHAHA. Not sure how many people were on him though, was like the 2nd or 3rd one. LOL.

Infotech test was MUCH HARDER than before. I couldn’t keep up, and couldn’t really complete it. That coming from me would mean something, so those who haven’t take the test take note~~~~~~

Also, actually it’d be doable if I studied. T_T So don’t under estimate the test. Shan’t say more before I get flamed, ya know what to do :V

Not discarding my humanity (or going against my conscience) over others’ selfishness, period. Try meeeeeee TIA~

Cops nowadays are too free to be true. They’re EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE. Got screened again for playing poker and chatting under void deck. 2 police cars of policemen came, which was rather ironic, only goes to reflect their sense of organisation, etc.

“Don’t even think about it” – Said the police officer who were conveniently copying down our I/C numbers to the other cops. We knew that they had quota (of 10/night) to meet which they refused to admit.

“No la, nowadays no quota already. We all go crazy like mad man, everywhere also stop and check” – Replied the SIR when questioned by us. White lies much~

I R SORRY FOR NOT EAT U COOK FOOD MEN MAM.

So this blog got left in a corner; so much so that Wordpress itself was several version behind the current.

Anywho, updated wordpress to what it should be, and planning to start blogging again since I need da traffic men~

Tell me if I’m wrong but school’s been much more fun to be in these days; my mondays no longer seem to be 219127842194 hours long.. Time flying much more quickly than before, good or bad, totally subjective..

Mostly muscle aches because I haven’t been to gym in like forever, but will make an effort to do so in the near future (i hope?).

So this week is much occupied. Tuesday evening staying back for comt discussion, Wednesday ending at 5, probably badminton in da night. Thursday meeting Clare after school. Friday – FREEEEEEE~ Saturday hair day+sentosa+whatnot. Sunday meeting Amanda to shop for huiyi’s present. Hurray for another filled up week, probably going to fail thursday’s cell bio quiz. QQ

Oh and I heard this song playing in the bus, used to like it but meh; mostly reminded me of wanni, who sent me it.

Welp~~~ Wish I had no school. LOOKING FORWARD TO HOLIDAYSSSSSSSSSS
